Government approved to expand to 100% the capacity in restaurants and conglomerates

In accordance with the complementary provisions of Supreme Decree No. 016-2022, of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM), published in the official newspaper El Peruano, the decision was reached after agreeing to repeal SUPREME DECREE No. 015-2022-PCM dated February 12.

In this way there are no longer any provinces in the country with moderate, high, very high and extreme alert levels.

However, health provisions such as the use of the mask and the presentation of the vaccination card certifying at least having the two doses remain in force.

“Any person who carries out face-to-face work activity must certify their complete vaccination scheme against COVID-19, with the vaccines administered both in Peru and abroad being valid,” the rule reiterates in its subsection 4.9.

It should be remembered that the president of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres, announced that the details on the updating of the capacity in the various economic activities would be presented on the last Friday, February 25.
