The cryptocurrencies with the largest capitalization, bitcoin and ethereum, fell around 10% this Thursday, February 24, after the start of Russia’s military attack on Ukraine.

In detail, bitcoin fell 9.7% and stood at US$35,094, while ethereum fell 13.78% to US$2,345.

Market analyst Diego Morín told AFP that investors will have to be aware of whether bitcoin approaches its latest current low of US $ 33,076, since if it goes down to that level, it is likely to continue that fall to US $ 30,000.

According to the expert, Ethereum would be in the same situation. Well, its current minimum is at US$ 2,160, so if the offer continues with the current strength in the face of this conflict, it could fall to US$ 1,800, the minimum of the year 2021.

“Now it is too early to know what will happen to cryptocurrencies with the current crisis, as with other assets, since the uncertainty could continue to create a selling panic, but everything will depend on the performance of the process carried out by the countries. involved,” he added.
