The Internal Revenue Service (SRI) recovered $100.14 million so far in 2022, as a result of collection actions carried out nationwide.
Through persuasive and coercive collection efforts, the SRI managed 238,000 payments corresponding to more than 121,000 taxpayers who had tax debts pending payment.

In addition, more than 13,000 taxpayers are complying with the quotas established in the payment facilities for a balance of $69.93 million.
Meanwhile, so far this year, the Tax Administration has completed the control processes for large taxpayers, which generated a yield of $47 million. This represents an increase of 324% with respect to the yield generated on this type of taxpayer in January of the previous year.
The Internal Revenue Service has initiated 490 new control processes for this segment. And with regard to controls focused on verifying the correct payment of corporate and natural person taxes, the Tax Administration has completed several inspection processes that have generated an additional yield of $27 million.
