Within the framework of the delegation of powers granted by the Congress of the republicthe Executive approved today in the Council of Ministers two legislative decrees on tax and financial matters, as announced by the head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Oscar Graham.
The official explained that the first approved measure is related to the strengthening of the Banco de la Nación, which will allow it to be modernized and thus be able to fulfill its role of financial inclusion.
“We have approved the strengthening of the Banco de la Nación, which will allow automatic capitalization and allow the Banco de la Nación to modernize its role both as a State paymaster and its important role in financial inclusion,” said the Minister of Economy at a press conference.
The other decree that was approved by the government modifies the income tax law, which will allow for a more expeditious procedure in terms of determining the unjustified increase in wealth. This measure aims to fight tax avoidance and evasion.
