The Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDI) delivered the Yanapay economic support to beneficiary number 12 million, registering an advance of 88.8% in the distribution of the subsidy at the national level since it began in September 2021.
Cila Ortega Romaní, 72, from the town of Jicamarca, district of San Antonio de Chaclla, in Huarochirí, is the citizen who received the payment of 350 soles from the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo Terronesand the Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Dina Boluarte Zegarra.
The owner of MIDI described Yanapay Peru as the largest financial operation of monetary subsidy granted by the Peruvian State, for the benefit of the population living in poverty, extreme poverty and vulnerability, in the entire history of the country.
“We have marked a milestone reaching 12 million beneficiaries of Yanapay economic support, the same one that was a commitment of the Government with all Peruvians in our country. For this task, the Midis has deployed all its efforts, “said the also vice president of Peru.
Along these lines, Boluarte recalled that it is close to paying all the beneficiaries, which are more than 13.5 million out of a total of 7.9 million households, and whose investment amounts to more than 5,000 million soles.
Beneficiaries who have not yet received financial support can collect it at the windows of the traditional and mobile branches of Banco de la Nación nationwide. They must first verify, by entering the official platform yanapay.gob.pe or by calling the toll-free line 101 of the Midis, on what date they must make the payment. The subsidy can be collected until April 30
