About 90% of Peruvian employees are dissatisfied with their salary

A recent study carried out by Bumeran revealed that 88% of employees are dissatisfied with the salary they receive. The level of dissatisfaction of Peruvian employees exceeds the results of Argentina (77%), Ecuador (67%) and Chile (63%).

The job portal’s research also indicates that the majority would ask for a 10% to 15% increase in their salary, while 77% are looking for a promotion because they believe they deserve it.

The report also indicates that 51% of Peruvians feel dissatisfied with their work.

“This disagreement shows that they are not only looking for raises and promotions, but also that they want to continue training to be more competitive professionals, and that is that 95% of Peruvians plan to invest their money in a training course in 2022,” says Wendel Richle, Manager of Bumeran Key Accounts.

Peru is the country with the highest salary increase

According to the report, Peru is the country that achieved the most salary increases (38%) and promotions (30%) in the region. In addition, it is one of the countries in Latin America with the highest levels of labor turnover, even above the regional average.
