The president of the Mondragón Corporation, Iñigo Ucín, has stressed that it is unlikely that the group or part of it will go public, even in the long term.
The president of the Mondragón Corporation, Iñigo Ucín, lamented that European funds “have not yet reached companies”, although he acknowledged that “it is a very complex issue”.
Despite this, he has urged that “money begin to arrive, that it be done on time is important”. The Corporation has “great expectations” placed on these funds, he has stressed.
The Mondragón Corporation has already announced that it plans to compete with three lines of projects related to sustainability, digitization and health, which would involve an investment of 1,500 million and the creation of 6,400 jobs.
Iñigo Ucín participated this Thursday in a meeting of the “Europe Forum. Tribuna Euskadi” and during his speech he stressed that he does not see the group or part of it as likely to go public, even in the long term. In addition, he has insisted that the Corporation’s decision centers will “always” be kept in the Basque Country.
