Exchange rate in Peru: how much is it trading today, Thursday, February 17, 2022

The dollar price todayThursday, February 17, starts at S / 3,7480, according to the portal Bloomberg. In the parallel market, the greenback is quoted at S/ 3,735 for purchase and S/ 3,770 for sale.

On Wednesday, February 16, the exchange rate closed at S/ 3,750, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP). As for the value of US currency at the windows of the National bankthe purchase of this is at S/ 3,700 and the sale is S/ 3,860.

For its part, through the ProInnĆ³vate program, the Ministry of Production (Produces) will finance micro and small businesses with amounts of up to S/ 35,000 (mypes) who suffered losses due to the pandemic COVID-19. In order to reactivate them economically, the mypes will have to apply from February 21 to July 22, through the website https://pee.proinnovate.gob.pe, where they will find the contest rules and all the information about the financing process.

On the other hand, the Specialized Chamber for Consumer Protection (SPC) of Indecopi ordered the withdrawal from the market of three pet food products: FĆ©lix Complete and Balanced Salmon Pate of 156 gr., of NestlĆ© Peru SA, as well as the Ricocan Lamb (Moist) of 170 gr. Y Ricocan Chunks in Sauce with Chicken and Vegetables of 330 gr., both from Rinti SA. According to the SPC, the decision was made because these brands misled their consumers with mislabeling, since they implied that they were composed only of certain ingredients, “when in fact they contained additional ones” such as pork viscera, chicken and/or turkey offal, fish meat, poultry and beef derivatives, among others.
