For its part, through the ProInnóvate program, the Ministry of Production (Produces) will finance micro and small businesses with amounts of up to S/ 35,000 (mypes) who suffered losses due to the pandemic COVID-19. Y Ricocan Chunks in Sauce with Chicken and Vegetables of 330 gr., both from Rinti SA. According to the SPC, the decision was made because these brands misled their consumers with mislabeling, since they implied that they were composed only of certain ingredients, “when in fact they contained additional ones” such as pork viscera, chicken and/or turkey offal, fish meat, poultry and beef derivatives, among others.
