MEF on Fonavi: Money from employer and State contributions “has already been used”

The head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Oscar Graham pointed out that the contributions made by the employer and the State to Fonavi have already been used for the construction of housing complexes as part of said program.

“As part of this program, housing complexes were built, such as: Torres de Limatambo, Santa Rosa satellite city and other housing complexes throughout the country. That money has already been used, not only to build housing infrastructure but also in collective works of electrification, water and sanitation”, clarified the head of the MEF.

In this sense, he said that according to the sentence of the constitutional Court What the worker contributed must be returned, which would amount to S/ 6,600 million, according to the calculation made with the update of the consumer price index (CPI).

Given this, he recalled that the Executive is preparing a proposal to speed up the payment to the Fonavistas.
