Honda Peru calls for a review of its Pilot and Ridgeline due to the risk of an accident due to hood failure

Indecopi reported that the company Honda of Peru S.A. began the call for review of its SUV and pick-up trucks, since they present improper fit which could cause the hood to open while driving and cause an accident by obstructing the driver’s vision.

  • Publication of the warning in a national newspaper on February 9, 2022.

It should be noted that the communication to the owners of said units must be made within a maximum period of 5 calendar days from when the company becomes aware of the risk.
