Dina Boluarte, head of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Between), stated that nearly five million beneficiaries have already collected the Yanapay Peru Bonus until October 22.
The official said that this monetary support has generated “quite a lot of expectation” because it is reaching more than thirteen million citizens personally.
“From my Ministry (Development and Social Inclusion) we have the financial support of Yanapay Peru that since it started on September 13 we have almost five million users who have already received their Yanapay Peru,” Boluarte told the Sunday Fourth Power.
Along the same lines, the also vice president of Peru urged citizens in a “state of vulnerability” to visit the yanapay page to verify if they are users and to make the payment effective through the various modalities.
At another point in the dialogue, he also recalled that “for the first time they are working with more than 18 financial entities between private banks and rural savings banks,” whom he thanked for an open signal.
“We will continue working in this way for the most vulnerable in Peru,” he said.
When asked about the national work plan, Boluarte said that “they have been working on their 100-day action,” which was presented before July 28. However, Boluarte alleged that the government’s work has lacked effective communication.
“We have been fulfilling it, each ministry is working, but I think that communication from the PCM and the Palace is quite weak,” he concluded.
