However, in the January-August period, employment still registered a decrease of 0.7 percentage points with respect to the same period of 2019. In relation to 2020, this variable increased 6.8% in August and 2.7 percent in the first eight months.
In addition, in August, 325 thousand private sector companies reported employment information, with which the number of companies grew 3.4 percent compared to the same month in 2019 (6.7 percent compared to the same period in 2020) .
Particularly in August, the number of companies with less than 10 workers, about 12 thousand more companies, that report employment compared to August 2019.
