President Castillo confirms partial return of Fonavi contributions

President peter castle confirmed the implementation of an item of S/ 6,600 million to pay the debt of the Fonavistas, totaling more than S/ 42,000 million, with which only the contributions of the workers would be returned, leaving aside the contribution of the employer.

Through his personal Twitter account, the head of state explained that the Executive’s proposal plans to serve the most vulnerable Fonavistas in the short term and “propose the progressive return of S / 6,600 million to Fonavi’s contributors.”

“In order to meet the fair claim of the Fonavistas, and within the framework of a responsible management of public accounts, the Executive will present a viable alternative in fiscal terms, which will allow the return of money from Fonavi to the workers,” he said. .

In this sense, the president’s announcement is in line with the proposal of the new head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), oscar grahamwho announced that the Executive will observe the autograph of the law that guarantees compliance with the full refund of money approved by the Plenary of Congress.

“In this way, the Government has been working to return the contributions to the workers, in a serious and expeditious manner, through a viable alternative, which safeguards public accounts and complies with the provisions of the Constitutional Court,” Castillo Terrones stressed.

The Republic was able to learn that the Government’s proposal would include a bonus for the Fonavistas, with the intention that they have immediate liquidity, while the return process is delayed.
