The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) approved the financial transfer of 73 million 812 thousand soles in favor of executing agencies of the public sector, for the payment of the total contribution of the Program for the Generation of Inclusive Social Employment Peru works.
This amount will be used for finance the execution of 112 agreements signed in order to execute investment projects, in the intervention modality for emergencies or natural disasters.
According to the MTPE, this financial transfer could generate around 6,380 temporary jobs.
Trabaja Perú is a program that aims to temporarily contribute to improving the income of the working-age population from 18 years of age, unemployed or affected by an emergency or natural disaster.

The head of the MTPE, Betssy Chávez, pointed out that her office is working on the new guidelines that the program will have Peru works, since a comprehensive reform will be carried out in order to strengthen it and fully comply with its objective of general temporary formal employment.
“In the MTPE we are working on the comprehensive reform of Peru works for which, next week, the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, and the president of the Council of Ministers, Mirtha Vásquez, will announce the guidelines of this initiative, ”the official said.
