Thus, the value of the greenback falls slightly in relation to the close of last Monday when it stood at S / 3.8440, according to the report of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru.

For its part, the purchase in the parallel market is quoted at S/ 3,830; while the sale amounts to S/ 3,865. Likewise, the US currency in the interbank market is at S / 3,817 for sale and S / 3,867 for purchase at the Banco de Credito (BCP), according to data from the portal How much is the dollar.

This occurs in the midst of the expectation of the appointment of the new ministerial cabinet after the resignation of Héctor Valer to the presidency of the Council of Ministers due to multiple complaints of family violence.

In the United States, on the other hand, the 10-year Treasury yield was up close to 1.95%, a level last seen in December 2019, with some investors betting it is headed for 3% this year as the Fed Federal fights red-hot inflation. The dollar rose against a basket of pairs.
