The BCRP, for its part, reported through its official Twitter account that inflation expectations for 2022 rose from a range between 3.5 and 3.75 percent in December 2021 to one between 3.50 and 3.85 percent in the latest poll. Inflation expectations for 2023 are located in the upper section of the target range (between 2.85 and 3.00 percent).

Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced that the Peruvian economy will grow 2.8% in 2022, a figure lower than those recently projected by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), which expects growth of 3.5%. and 4%.
