The Ministry of Housing (MVCS) reported that in January 3,217 families accessed a home through the housing programs of the Techo Propio program and Mivivienda credits. The portfolio investment was S/ 196,235,000.
Families benefited by Techo Propio
Of the total, 2,231 families were able to acquire or build their homes with the help of the Bono Familiar Habitacional (BFH) of the Techo Propio program, which is aimed at low-income families who wish to fulfill the dream of their own home.
In detail, of the families benefited by the Own Roof program, 1,482 families received the BFH in the Acquisition of New Housing modality, whose value is S/ 40,250, while 749 benefited from the BFH for Construction on Own Site, which has a value of S / 27,600. As a whole, the MVCS disbursed S/ 77,770,000.
The number of bonuses delivered last month represents an increase of 103% compared to the same period in 2021.
Mivivienda Credits
Mivivienda credits benefited 986 families in January, which represented a disbursement of S/ 118,465,000.
Of the total, 874 correspond to the New Mivivienda Credit, which allows financing the purchase of real estate whose value is between S/ 61,200 and S/ 436,100.
The remaining 112 credits granted correspond to the Own Roof Complementary Financingwhich helps low-income families to finance the property they acquired with the Family Housing Bonus of the Techo Propio program.
