The Ministry of Economy and Finance (Mef) made official this Friday, February 4, the formation of the “Executive Board for productive transformation in prioritized value chains”which will be made up of public and private institutions.
The multisectoral working group aims to identify problems and ‘bottlenecks’ that limit the development of the prioritized value chain, as well as coordinate, propose solutions, facilitate and promote actions that contribute to improving the productivity and competitiveness.
According to the Ministerial Resolution No. 033-2022-EF/10 published today in the official newspaper El Peruano, the Executive Board is of a temporary nature and will be made up of the head or representative of the following organizations:
- The Ministry of Economy and Finance
- The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation
- The Ministry of Production
- The Ministry of Health
- The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism
- The National Assembly of Regional Governments (ANGR)
- The Development Finance Corporation (Cofide)
- The Technological Institute of Production (ITP)
- The Compensation Program for Competitiveness (Agroideas)
- The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (Promperú)
- The National Society of Industries (SNI)
- The Association of Exporters (ADEX)
- The Association of Agricultural Producers Guilds of Peru (AGAP)
- The National Convention of Peruvian Agro (Conveagro)
- The National Chamber of Commerce, Production, Tourism and Services (Perucamaras).
Finally, the regulation specifies that the Technical Secretariat of the “Executive Board for productive transformation in prioritized value chains” is in charge of the Specialized Team of Executive Boards of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, which will be in charge of directing its operation. and operation.
