The union majority demonstrates against the labor reform in the four capitals of Hego Euskal Herria

The day before the vote on the labor reform, rallies have also been held in workplaces, where, according to the unions, thousands of people have participated.

In the absence of a day to vote on the labor reform decree, the unions ELA, LAB, Steilas, ESK, Hiru and Etxalde they have concentrated this Wednesday simultaneously in the four capitals of Hego Euskal Herria against the labor reform and in defense of the Basque labor relations framework.

In addition to in Bilbao, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Saint Sebastian Y Pamplonathere have also been protests in the work centers of the different localities, and the unions have assured that thousands of workers have participated in the mobilizations.

The general secretary of ELA, Pello Igeregiand from LAB, Garbiñe Aranburuhave affirmed that the willingness of Ciudadanos to support the decree is the clearest proof of the damage that this decree entails.

The deputies congress will vote tomorrow the decree of labor reform. And although at this time, officially, it does not have sufficient support, the Pedro Sánchez government assumes that the decree in force since the beginning of the year will be validated.

Predictably, the Government of Spain will change the investiture partners for Ciudadanos, but their support is not enough. Depends on the “yes” of UPN and PDeCAT.
