Between January 25 and February 17, 5,522 original families located on the border with Ecuador, belonging to the Together program, of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis), will be able to collect their subscriptions through a flow conveyor that will arrive to the most remote areas of the Amazon region.
According to the Midis, the first payment points will be the towns of Pampaentsa, in the district of El Cenepa, and Wayampiak, jurisdiction of Imaza in Bagua, where they will collect an average of 450 households from 25 native settlements of the Awajún ethnic group, settled in remote places and with complex geography.
In both sectors the transfer of resources will be executed through a helicopter of the Peruvian Air Force (FAP), which will depart from the Urakuza military base, located one hour from Santa María de Nieva, capital of the province of Condorcanqui.
Subsequently, the distribution of incentives will be carried out, almost entirely, by waterway, except for two points where payment will be made by road. In this type of modality, the fertilizers will arrive through motor boats directly to 14 itinerant service centers installed in native communities distributed along the Marañón, Santiago, Nieva and El Cenepa rivers.
The head of Together in Amazonas, Javier Roldán Nuñuvero, clarified that the delivery of payments in the areas of Chaim (El Cenepa), Alto Tuntus (Imaza) and San Rafael (Santiago River), will no longer be carried out bimonthly, but rather It will be carried out Every four months.
“We want to inform the general population that all our user families who charge at these payment points will continue to receive their incentives without any problem, only that they will do so intercalated way”, he pointed out.
Finally, the Midis recalls that the payment of incentives to the Together households is effective as long as their children under three years of age have completed the comprehensive health package, which includes CRED controls, immunization against rotavirus, pneumococcus and iron supplementation. .
