Lambayeque: 2022 budget for sanitation and urban planning works amounts to S / 120 million

The head of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS), Geiner Alvarado, reported that the public budget for 2022 allocated to the execution of water and sanitation, housing and neighborhood improvement works in the Lambayeque region, by the three levels of government, amounts to S/ 120 million 581,129.

Of this total, the three levels of government have S/ 73,080,484 million for water and sanitation projects, and S/ 47,500,645 million for housing and urban development works.

Of the more than S/ 120 million budget this year, the National Government will execute S/ 32 million 609,210; local governments have been allocated S/ 81,593,184 million; and the Regional Government of Lambayeque will be in charge of S/ 6 million 378,735.

One of the projects for which the MVCS has a budget is the expansion and improvement of the drinking water treatment plant EPSEL PTAP No. 2, located in the district and province of Chiclayo, which has S/ 8,599,867 million. financing.

Another of the projects that will be in charge of the MVCS, with an amount of S/ 2 million 633,702, is the installation of urban viability services for the New City of Olmos, in the district of Olmos, province of Lambayeque.

Meanwhile, among the projects to be carried out by the Regional Government of Lambayeque highlights the creation of the drinking water and basic sanitation service in the town of Janque, in the district of Incahuasi, province of FerreƱafe, whose investment amount is S/ 1 million 963,191.

Meanwhile, one of the major projects that will be in charge of local governments is the rehabilitation of the primary and secondary collectors of the Leonardo Ortiz district, in the province of Chiclayo, for which S/ 14,751,172 million has been allocated.
