Lima Stock Exchange closes down with -0.62%

The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) closed the day on Thursday, January 20, down with 13 sectors in red and only 3 in green, driven by services and electricity shares.

At the close of business, the index S&P/BVL Perú General, the most representative of the Lima stock market, registered a decrease of -0.62%% and stood at 23,329.78 points.

Similarly, the index S&P/BVL Peru Selective, which is made up of the 15 most traded shares in the local market, recorded a loss of -0.75% and ended at 625.68 units.

The actions of the sectors that posted gains were services and electricity with an increase of 0.23% respectively. The sectors that registered decreases were consumption with -0.83%, financial with -0.94%, industrial with -0.01%, mining with -0.75%, construction with 0.53%.
