Trujillo: SBS concluded intervention to Cooperativa San Lorenzo

In the month of November, the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFPs (SBS) intervened in the San Lorenzo Savings and Credit Cooperative, located at 780 Ayacucho Street, in the center of Trujillo, for being involved in the cause of loss total share capital and cooperative reserve. To date, the intervention has been concluded, according to SBS resolution Number 00148-2022 published in the newspaper El Peruano, this January 19.

Terminate the intervention regime to which the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Credito Parroquia San Lorenzo Trujillo Ltda. 104 was submitted for having accredited the lifting of the cause of total loss of the capital stock and the cooperative reserve, provided for in numeral 2 of the Article 2 of the Regulation of Special Regimes”, reads the resolution.

The document resolves, “To revoke in all its extremes SBS Resolution No. 03637-2021, which, among other aspects, includes the powers granted to Renzo Ramos Peralta, identified with DNI No. 43409677, and to Vanessa Pajuelo Mamani, identified with DNI No. 43480521, auditors in charge of the intervention process of the Cooperative of Savings and Credit Parroquia San Lorenzo Trujillo Ltda. 104; and, consequently, the Board of Directors, made up of Messrs. Raúl Segundo Eulogio Gabrielli Castañeda, identified with DNI No. 18139680; Víctor Raúl Vallejo Martell, identified with DNI No. 17908464; Luis Antonio Aguilar Alonso, identified with DNI No. 17885766; Oscar Antonio Mercado Alza, identified with DNI No. 18168635 and Luis Miguel Pereda Palacios, identified with DNI No. 42827263; designated at the time of the intervention assumes, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations, the administration of the Cooperative of Savings and Credit Parroquia San Lorenzo Trujillo Ltda. 104″.

To achieve the lifting of the intervention, each savings partner authorized by means of a letter the transfer of a percentage of their savings, to their own individual contribution account. The estimated percentage for each was 50% or more. This served to lift the only cause for intervention that the SBS has declared and for which it had given a deadline to correct until December 30, 2021.
