A forest worker dies after suffering the impact of a branch in Pipaón

The work accident took place early this afternoon while he was carrying out logging work in a wooded area in Alto de Herrera. The worker was 46 years old and a resident of Villasana de Mena (Burgos).

The accident occurred at 12:15 p.m. when the man fell “a large branch”, as explained on its Twitter account by the Ertzaintza Surveillance and Rescue Unit.

Units of the Ertzaintza and the Álava Fire Department have traveled to the forest track where the event took place, as well as health resources, although they have only been able to confirm the death of the man.

The victim was a native of Villasana de Mena (Burgos).
