They exclude 6 cooperatives from the national register of the SBS and declare their dissolution

The Banking Superintendency, Insurance and AFP (SBS) announced the exclusion and declaration of dissolution of six cooperatives from the National Registry of Savings and Credit Cooperatives Not Authorized to Capture Resources from the Public and Centrals.

These are the savings and credit cooperatives Integra Asociados Ltda., Inkacoop Ltda., Grupo Prada Limitada, Finanzas Solidarias para la Exportación Santa Asunción Ltda., Credisicuani Limitada and Crediperubank Limitada.

The publication of the resolutions leads to the continuity of the prohibitions contained in article 6 of the Regulation of Special Regimes, and it is, therefore, prohibited:

1. Initiate legal or administrative proceedings against the savings and credit cooperative in dissolution for the collection of credits at its expense.
2. Pursue the execution of judicial resolutions issued against the dissolving savings and credit cooperative.
3. Create liens on any of the assets of the savings and credit cooperative in dissolution, in guarantee of the obligations that concern it.
4. Make payments, advances or compensations, or assume obligations on behalf of the savings and credit cooperative in dissolution, with the funds or assets that belong to it and are in the possession of third parties.
5. Establish a precautionary measure against the assets of the dissolving savings and credit cooperative.

In addition, different officials are designated, two in each case, so that, on behalf of the SBS, they carry out the necessary acts to carry out the dissolution of the six savings and credit cooperatives.

Among the functions of these representatives is the immediate taking of possession, for its administration, of all the assets of the savings and credit cooperative in dissolution, signing the minutes that contain the transfer of these assets, while ordering that deliver them titles, securities, contracts, books, files, any other document and whatever may be owned by it.

They must also prepare the list of creditors of the savings and credit cooperative in dissolution, indicating the amount, nature of the credits and preference they enjoy, in accordance with article 10 of the Regulation of Special Regimes.

SBS: Two cooperatives come out of intervention

On the other hand, the SBS terminated the intervention regime to which the savings and credit cooperatives Grupo Integra Limitada and Parroquia San Lorenzo Trujillo Ltda were subjected.

With this, the powers granted to the SBS auditors in charge of their respective processes are revoked in all extremes, and management is returned to the board of directors designated at the time of the intervention, in each case.
