Dollar in Peru: exchange rate opens lower and is quoted at S / 3,938

The exchange rate began with a slight fall at the beginning of the trading session of the Wednesday, October 20 and it stood at S / 3.9385 at 09:03 am on the Bloomberg portal, representing a decrease of 0.27% compared to Tuesday’s close, when it stood at S / 3.948 according to the Central Reserve Bank of the Peru (BCRP).

However, at 9:23 a.m. Bloomberg reported that the dollar it continued its downward trend and was trading at S / 3.9375 at that time of day.

For its part, the greenback is traded in the main banks of the country in S / 3,993 the purchase and S / 3,887 the sale. The exchange houses and ordinary money changers, meanwhile, offer the currency at S / 3,935 for the purchase and S / 3,965 for the sale.

On the other hand, the Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) opened the day with the main indices in blue.

Thus, the S&P Peru General, rose 0.05 at the start of operations, scoring 20,689.53 integers. Meanwhile, the S&P Peru Select registered increased by 0.18%, that is, 546.11 points.
