The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, referred tonight to the price of the dollar that has been steadily declining in recent days and that closed the week at S/ 3.8720, according to the Central Reserve Bank.
In this regard, the president pointed out that the good performance of the national currency reflects the greater confidence of businessmen in the country.
“The strong recovery in the value of our currency and the other assets of our economy reflect the greater confidence of our businessmen in the correct conduct that we have been managing from the Government,” he wrote on his Twitter account.
“Today, dear compatriots, the price of the dollar continued to decline and, until yesterday, the Lima Stock Exchange has been recovering systematically. We will continue working for citizenship and in the recovery of our economy,” he added.
