The Basque Government and Eudel have presented this Friday the details of the Public Employment Offer (OPE) of 497 places for Ertzaintza and Local Police. This coming Monday is the deadline for inscription that will remain open until February 11. Those interested should sign up through the website. arkauteakademia.eus.
Of the total of plazas (497), 424 are to be an ertzaina and another 73 are to be an agent of the Local Police in 32 municipalities of the Basque Autonomous Community. If vacancies occur during the time the selection process lasts, the number of jobs may be increased.

The Basque Academy of Police and Emergencies estimates that the first tests, the theoretical ones, will be held in spring 2022 so that this new joint promotion of agents of the Ertzaintza and the Local Police can begin its autumn training of this year and join each police force in 2023.
Requirements
– Age: be between 18 and 38 years old.
– Minimun height: 1.65 meters for men and 1.60 for women.
– Title: Bachelor, equivalent or higher degree.
– Meet all the requirements of the position chosen according to the body: Basque according to the level and the preceptivity of the square, driving licenses currently required, etc.
