After conducting an evaluation of the four proposals of the participating national and international companies, Petroperú awarded Heaven Petroleum Operators SA this afternoon the good pro of the competitive acquisition process COM-013-2021-GDCH / PETROPERÚ for the purchase of Biodiesel B100 in the period between January and April of this year.
“The process, which began on January 5 with the invitation to 69 qualified suppliers, both national and international, with experience in supplying this fuel, was carried out in accordance with Petroperú’s hydrocarbon acquisition procedure,” reported the state company.
The notary public Rulby Vela Velásquez participated in the reception of proposals, held on January 10, 2022, who attested to the act, so that the process is carried out with the principles of transparency, impartiality and fair and equal treatment between the Particiapant enterprises.
In total, four proposals were received, two from the international companies Repsol Trading SA and Trafigura Pte. Ltd. The other two were from the national companies Bio Energy Peru SAC and Heaven Petroleum Operators SA
It should be noted that, on December 23, Petroperú declared the bidding contracts with the Heaven Petroleum Operators company void, after questioning possible irregularities.
The state company reported that it has been coordinating the simultaneous control of the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic in the hydrocarbon purchasing processes that it executes.
With the purchase of this product, Petroperú will guarantee the production and supply of fuels, at the national level, in accordance with the regulations in force in the country’s hydrocarbon market.
