A bill by the congressman of Podemos Peru, José Luis Elías Avalos, proposes that workers can once again have 100% of the deposits of the Compensation for Time of Service (CTS)
The legal initiative proposes the temporary provision of the CTS in order to cover the economic needs caused by the third wave of the COVlD-19 pandemic.
“Authorize, for a single time and until December 31, 2022, to the workers included within the scope of the Single Ordained Text of Legislative Decree n ° 650, Law of Compensation for Time of Services, approved by Supreme Decree 001 -97 -TR, to freely dispose of one hundred percent (100%) of the deposits for Compensation for time of services (CTS) made in financial entities and that they have accumulated as of the date of this provision ”, states the proposal presented on 10 January of this year.
Finally, regarding its regulation, it indicates that the Executive Power will be in charge of issuing the necessary regulatory provisions, within a maximum period of 10 calendar days from the entry into force of the law.
