In any case, the councilor has launched a message of “tranquility”, since “for now” they are “holding on.” “We have had to ask the professionals to come back from drainage situations, and we will always have the option of pulling interns, although it is not easy because in this case training is needed,” he acknowledged.

In an interview with the “Boulevard” program on Radio Euskadi, the first mayor of Bilbao also referred to the entrance of the High Speed ​​Train (TAV) to the villa, to announce that “in the coming weeks” the agreement will be signed with the Ministry of Transport that will guarantee the underground arrival to Abando and will turn it into “a project with no return”.

In his words, “the agreement will leave two things very clear and written: the first, that the provisional Basauri station will not go into operation until the works begin of burial; the second, which will be carried out via a management commission, that is, the execution of the works will be the responsibility of the Basque Government. This will make it a project of no return, and I hope it will go at cruising speed so that TAV becomes a reality. “

As for other strategic projects of the town, he has ensured that the priority is “people and neighborhoods”, and in that sense, he has announced that 50 million will be allocated to the neighborhoods, compared to 38 in 2021. About Zorrozaurre, has pointed out that it is being urbanized both in the north and south points. “It is a long-term project, but every year it will have specific executions. It will also be synonymous with economic activity, since it will host the technology park, of which we will give some news soon,” he highlighted.
