Serve: about 125,000 civil servants were trained in 2021

In total, 124,806 public sector workers received free training during 2021 thanks to the courses and programs offered by the National School of Public Administration (Enap) of the National Civil Service Authority (Servir), Rosario Cerdán reported in a press release Urtecho, director of ENAP.

In this way, 73,711 civil servants were trained in academic complementation activities, followed by 47,308 people who chose topics related to administration and public management. Among the officials were 1,465 public managers and 2,322 teachers.

According to Cerdán, of the total of those trained, 43% belonged to the national government, 16% to the regional government, 19% to local governments and 5% to autonomous organizations. Likewise, the entity specified that 57% were women.

“It is an achievement to have trained nearly 125,000 civil servants throughout the country, despite the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and to have continued with the applied research line aimed at identifying or systematizing Interesting experiences in contemporary Peruvian public management ”, he mentioned.
