Banco de la Nación extends validity of expired debit cards

The Banco de la Nación announced this Sunday, January 9, that it will extend the validity of the debit cards overdue between January 2020 and those that will expire in February 2022.

“With this, these cards may be used until March 31 of this year at the windows of the financial institution, MultiRed ATMs, MultiRed agents, MultiRed Virtual and mobile banking App,” said the financial institution in a statement.

However, it should be noted that the debit cards with extended validity may not be used in businesses affiliated with Visa, with the app Yape, nor in ATMs of other banks.

Additionally, within the framework of the payment of the Yanapay economic support, the Banco de la Nación invoked the beneficiaries, whose payment method is through the windows, to go to the agencies only as of their assigned payment date, which It can be consulted at yanapay.gob.pe or by calling the Midis line 101 free of charge.

The bank also reminded its clients and users that, in accordance with Supreme Decree No. 179-2021-PCM, the presentation of the Vaccination card Certifying that you have received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is a mandatory requirement to access agencies.
