Basque Mobility, Ecosistema del Dato and Basque Advanced Therapies are the three proposals that the Basque Government will send to the Spanish Government to be presented to the aforementioned reconstruction funds.
The Basque Government has selected three strategic projects, Basque Mobility, Data Ecosystem and Basque Advanced Therapies, which will be sent to the Spanish Government to be presented to the Next funds of the European Union. The amount of the total investment of the three strategic proposals amounts to 1854 million euros.
At the press conference after the Governing Council, the Basque Government’s Minister for Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment, Arantxa Tapia, has specified that this does not mean that other projects included in the Euskadi Next Program 21-26. For this, the Executive aspires to obtain more European financing or to obtain public or private financing.
Arantxa Tapia has advanced that he expects a response from the Spanish Government by the end of the year. He acknowledged that there is no “commitment” from the Spanish Government that these three projects will have financing, but that the reception has been very positive.
Finally, he stressed that all resources are welcome: “We are not going to waste any resources.”
