In a statement published this Friday, January 7, the manufacturing company reports having received on that date the results of the analysis from the FS Certifications laboratory, accredited by the highest regulatory technical authority of the National Quality System (INACAL), according to which the presentation of 39 gr does not exceed the established trans fat limits (2.0 out of 100 gr of fat).
“These analyzes coincide and accredit our initial and current position, as well as the previous analyzes that we provided to INDECOPI and DIGESA in October and December 2021,” the document reads. Therefore, they add, in compliance with the variation of Indecopi’s precautionary measure, the product will once again be marketed nationwide from this Friday, January 7.
The company maintains that it will continue to certify to the Consumer Protection Commission No. 3 (CC3), through test reports from authorized laboratories, that its batches of Cheese Tris do not exceed the limits allowed by Supreme Decree No. 033-2016-SA of the Ministry of Health, and that they will continue to respect the legal processes and decisions of the authorities, as well as the legal regulations.
