Lima Stock Exchange opens the day with 10 sectors in green

The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) The session began this Friday, January 7, with most of its indices in positive territory, with 10 sectors up and only two down.

At the end of operations, the S & P / BVL Peru General Index, the most representative of the Lima stock market, advanced in 0,30% up to 22,196.34 points.

Similarly, the S & P / BVL Peru Selective Index, which is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, rose 0.68% and stood at 595 units.

By sectors, the mining sector led the gains with 0.41%, followed by the industrial sector with 0.02% and construction with 0.03%. In negative are the consumer sector with -0.25% and financial with -0.34%. The electricity and services sectors did not show variation.

This occurs after the holder of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE), Betssy Chávez, announced that for the second half of January the union centrals and business associations would be summoned to a session of the National Labor Council (CNT) to initiate the discussion on a possible increase in the minimum vital remuneration (RMV).
