MTPE and MEF will develop measures to reduce tax informality

The holder of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE), Betssy Chávez, informed that her portfolio will carry out reforms to promote the formalization of employment in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).

“The challenge is to target those informal and, through tax reforms that we will work with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, invite them to formality,” he said.

Minister Chávez reported that her portfolio seeks to create a registry with informal employers in order to boost its formalization and that they pay taxes to the State.

“We have to achieve its targeting in order to have a list the pattern so that we can give you the opportunity to be able to pay taxes in the formal field.
