The head of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE), Betssy Chávez, announced that for the second half of January the union centrals and business associations would be summoned to a session of the National Labor Council (CNT) to initiate the discussion on a possible increase in the minimum vital remuneration (RMV).
“The space for dialogue to increase the minimum wage will be given in the National Labor Council, the Labor sector will present its proposal for an increase, it will discuss both with employers and workers- And the date is between the fortnight and the end of this month ”, declared the minister in a press conference.
He pointed out that in this space for dialogue, the MTPE will present its proposal to increase the minimum wage and this will be discussed at the CNTP.
It is important to remember that the current RMV is located at S / 930 since March 2018.
