Mercedes Benz Vitoria will continue to operate next week

During today’s meeting, the company also communicated to the workers’ representatives that in the next few days it will open a negotiation period to implement a new ERTE due to parts supply problems after the previous one ended on December 31.

The uncertainty in the supply of semiconductors has caused various production stoppages in recent months at this company, the largest in the Basque Country as it directly employs some 5,000 people.
