The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) decided to maintain for this 2022 the exceptional values of the Family Housing Bonus of the Techo Propio (BFH) program, which will continue to be 6 UIT.
Thus, the value of this financial aid went from S / 26,400 to S / 27,600 for the Construction on Own Site modality, because the ITU went from S / 4,400 to S / 4,600 this year.
Under the Construction on Own Site modality, the exceptional value of the minimum required savings will be 0.023 UIT (S / 105.8), due to the fact that it has been identified that there are families in the lower income segments that could not contribute greater savings in the short term.
It should be noted that the savings values will depend on the families’ ability to pay and the production values of the homes in the different regions of the country.
The BFH in the Construction on Own Site modality is a subsidy aimed at low-income families who wish to build a home on their own land or in independent spaces.
It should be remembered that, by ministerial resolution, the MVCS established that the exceptional value of the BFH in the New Home Acquisition modality would go from S / 38,500 to S / 40,250 this year. In addition, it specified that the exceptional value of the minimum savings in this modality would be equivalent to 0.3% of the value of the home to be purchased.
Other modalities
For its part, it will have an additional value of 25% for people with Disability of the Armed Forces and of the National Police that are included within the scope of Law 29643, which provides protection to personnel with disabilities in law enforcement agencies. For these cases, the BFH will be S / 34,500.
Finally, for the victims who lost their homes due to the process of violence that occurred between 1980 and 2000, as well as for those who live in the districts of the Valley of the Apurímac, Ene and Mantaro rivers (VRAEM) and in the department of Huancavelica, the BFH for Construction in Own Site will be 51% higher, with which this economic aid will amount to S / 41,676.
It is important to note that these new values apply from January 1 to December 31, 2022.
