Lima Stock Exchange closes the day with gains and rises 1.87%

The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) closed the session on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 with all its shares in green. In this way, 14 sectors were registered on the rise.

The S & P / BVL Peru General index, the most representative of the Lima stock market, advanced 1.87% to 21,560.09 points. For its part, the S & P / BVL Perú Selectivo index, which is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, grew 1.78% and recorded 576.57 units.

The sectors with the highest profits were financial with 2.73%, industrial with 1.81%, consumption with 1.84%, mines with 1.18%, construction with 0.93%, electricity with 0.21% and services with 0.21%.

This occurs after the President of the Council of Ministers, Mirtha Vásquez, reported that they have proposed to the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy (SNMPE) a series of changes to the General Mining Law to address social conflicts in the country.
