Lima Stock Exchange opens the day with 11 sectors in green

The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) The session began this Tuesday, January 4, with most of its indices in positive territory, with 11 sectors on the rise and only two on the decline.

At the end of operations, the S & P / BVL Peru General Index, the most representative of the Lima stock market, advanced in 0,91% up to 21,164.14 points.

Similarly, the S & P / BVL Peru Selective Index, which is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, rose 0.83% to 566.48 units.

By sectors, the mining sector led the gains with 1.79%, followed by the financial sector with 1.15%, then the consumer sector with 0.16% and services with 0.01%. In negative are construction with 0.06% and industrial with 0.04%. Only the electricity sector did not obtain variation.

This occurs one day after the Las Bambas mine restarted operations after the truce agreed in Cusco with the Chumbivilcas communities and the representatives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM), on December 30.
