The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) executed 95.6% of its budget corresponding to fiscal year 2021. That is, a total of S / 3,523 million 100 thousand, which contributed to provide the neediest families with access to a social housing, as well as to better services of sanitation.
Among the main activities carried out by the MVCS are the disbursement of housing bonds (such as the Bono Familiar Habitacional de Own Roof and the Bonus of the Good Payer of the Mivivienda Credit), to which S / 1,621 million 100 thousand were allocated; the construction of houses in rural areas, which comprised S / 312 million 200 thousand; and transfers to companies that provide sanitation services, to which S / 352 million 800 thousand were dedicated.
Among the main investments carried out are those related to urban sanitation and rural sanitation, which have made it possible to provide better health services. Water and sewerage to the Peruvian towns, mainly to the less favored. In the first case, S / 549 million 700 thousand was executed; and in the second, S / 270 million 600 thousand.
It is important to specify that the MVCS budget assigned for 2021 was S / 3,684 million 600 thousand.
