In this way, the project presented on December 30, 2021 indicates that it seeks to “optimize the distribution of resources from the mining canon and mining royalties” in order to “close or reduce economic and social gaps” in places where mining resources are exploited.
The legal initiative states that the beneficiaries of the subsidy must be Peruvian by birth and, in addition, have at least 10 years of residence in the town, district or province where the mining operation is located.
