Edgardo Orderique, general manager of The Bambas, informed La República on Thursday that the mining company would restart its operations after completing the meeting with the Chumbivilcas communities and the Government.
“All the parties have put their great will to reach agreements. We think that sustainable agreements are being made that allow the company to produce, return to the collaborators (sic) the 75 thousand affected families. A climate of tranquility and peace is moving, “he told this newspaper.
Likewise, when asked about the time it would take to resume their operations, Orderique announced that “they will give all the necessary notices” to restart them.
“The whole cycle takes about 5 to 6 days. That is the term in which we are going to take to have the complete cycle of production fully already ”, he assured.
