Lima Stock Exchange closes the day with all its sectors in green

The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) The session ended this Thursday, December 30, with a gain of 1.44% and with its 15 sectors in green.

At the end of operations, the S & P / BVL Peru General Index, the most representative of the Lima stock market, gained 1.44% to 21,157.31 points.

Similarly, the S & P / BVL Peru Selective Index, which is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, rose 1.48% and stood at 565.04 units.

By sectors, the financial sector led the gains with 1.99%, the mining sector 1.89% and the industrial sector with 0.86%. It was followed by the consumer sector with 0.70%; as well as the services and electricity sectors with 0.30%.

This occurs after the meeting between the Government, MMG Las Bambas and the communities of Chumbivilcas (Cusco) that for more than a month they chose to block a section of the southern mining corridor pending contractual improvements.
