CTS retreat until 2026: Congress presents a new bill to release 100% savings

A new bill to withdraw 100% of the CTS entered the documentary process of Congress on the last Thursday, March 6. Its author is the parliamentarian Guido Bellido, who seeks to allocate financial support for workers affected by economic difficulties. In this way, they already add fifteen initiatives that await their debate in the work and economy commissions.

As recalled, the deadline to release the entire money accumulated in the CTS accounts won on December 31 of last year. After that date, the law that provides that formal workers can only withdraw up to 100% of the surplus of four remuneration they have again.

CTS retreat until 2026: What does the new proposal say?

Like the other CTS retirement bill, Guido Bellido, Podemos Peru, seeks to authorize the free availability of 100% of CTS deposits made by employers in financial entities. This measure “aims to provide liquidity and economic support to workers, allowing them to use their funds based on their personal and family needs.

“Currently, the regulations restrict the availability of the Cts, allowing your retirement only in specific cases. This prevents workers from using these funds to mitigate the economic crisis and face their most urgent needs. In this sense, the authorization for the free disposition of the Funds of the CTS until December 31, 2026 is presented as an exceptional and necessary measure to provide immediate financial relief to citizens, “reads the exposition of reasons for the proposal.

In addition to this law initiative, Bellido has just presented another so that private sector workers carry out an eighth withdrawal from private pension funds, but in less time. This procedure will be carried out in three armed ones, seeking that the third and fourth UIT be delivered at the same time.
