Users in Peru have the right to demand immediate refund for the cancellation of shows, clarifies INDECOPI

The Technical Secretariat of the Consumer Protection Commission No. 3 of INDECOPI He has reported that several companies involved in the cancellation and reprogramming of shows must immediately return the money from the entrances to the affected consumers. In this sense, Indecopi has initiated ex officio investigations against these companies with the aim of protecting consumers’ rights.

In this context, companies such as ‘Traveling People & Show SAC’, ‘Inversiones Forte de Marni Sac’, ‘A23 Live Entertainment Sac’ and ‘Fun for Fan Sac’, responsible for the organization of events such as ‘Camilo: our happy place Tour’, ‘for the first time in the same scenario: Víctor Manuelle’, ‘Marc Anthony and Rubén Blades’, The Cult in Lima ‘,’ and ‘comic with 25’, respectively.

How to report problems with the return of entries?

The consumers that in front of difficulties related to the input reimbursement process for events can report it to be considered in the relevant investigations. To do this, they must send an email to infodenciascc3@indecopi.gob.pe, specifying the name of the event in the matter.

According to him Consumer Protection and Defense Codecompanies are obliged to provide precise information and guarantee the return of the entries amount if the services have not been provided in accordance with the agreed, or if they were not carried out within the established period.
