Salary claim in Peru reaches S/3,145 in January: What jobs did they stand out?

In January, the average salary required in Peru was in S/3,145, that is, 3.40% less than the previous month, according to the index report of the labor market of Bumeranleading employment portal in Latin America. This result also shows an increase of 4.37% in interannual terms.

In January, the wages required in the Junior, Senior and Chief segments experienced a reduction of 2.09%, 3.65%and 3.52%, respectively. If we observe in detail, the range according to Seniority shows that the general management position or direction is the one that holds a higher required salary (S/8,500), while the lowest is the cash with S/2,000.

In the case of the junior and semi -asanior segment, design is the occupation with a greater salary claim, located in S/6,000. A counterpart, laboratory records the lowest amount with S/1,500. Finally, the automotive engineering position is located as the highest in terms of aspirations in the Junior segment with S/3,500, while Social Work records only one S/1.025.

Gender gap in salary expectations
