New Jorge Chávez Airport: These are the rates that the passengers of the Aerodirect Bus will pay to go to the terminal since March 2025

In 2025, Jorge Chávez airport would come into operation and include a public transport service to strengthen accessibility in Lima and Callao.

The new Jorge Chávez International Airport Terminal, whose opening is scheduled for 2025, will feature the public transport service Aerodirectdesigned to improve connectivity with various areas of Lima and Callao.

With established routes and accessible rates, this system will facilitate the transfer of passengers and workers from districts such as Cercado de LimaWindow and the olive trees. Aerodirect will have 57 strategically located whereabouts, guaranteeing an efficient and comfortable trip for its users.

New Jorge Chávez airport terminal: What will be the rates for passengers?

Aerodirect will operate daily from 5.30 am to 10.00 pm, providing a service that will benefit passengers, workers and people who go to the airport to receive family or friends. With rates ranging from S/ 1.20 to S/ 5.00, depending on the distance traveled, this transport system seeks to offer an accessible and efficient option.

The Urban transport authority for Lima and Callao (ATU) pointed out that the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) could modify these prices in the future. In addition, the implementation of an exclusive lane is studied to expedite transfers and improve the fluidity of traffic in the main access roads to the terminal.

Aerodirect routes to Jorge Chávez airport

The service will have several routes that will facilitate access to the airport from different parts of the city. The whereabouts will be properly marked and equipped with information clear for users.

  1. Northern Aerodirect: It will start from the crossing of Izaguirre and University avenues, it will continue through Tomás Valle and Morales Duárez until you reach the airport.
  2. South Aerodirect: It will begin its tour at the crossroads of Cuba and Brazil avenues, will continue for peace and Venezuela, and culminate in Morales Duárez.
  3. Center aerodirect: It will leave the crossing of Alfonso Ugarte and Nicolás de Piéro avenues, it will continue on the AV. Óscar R. Benavides (colonial), and then take Faucett and Morales Duárez to the terminal.
  4. Aerodirecto Ventanilla: Tour the AV. Néstor Gambeta, will fold for Faucett and continue through Morales Duárez to the airport.
  5. Quilca Aerodirect (Callao): will start at AV. Quilca will continue for Faucett and Morales Duárez. The passage on this route will be S/ 1.20.

When is the new Jorge Chávez airport terminal inaugurated?

The opening of the new terminal of the Jorge Chávez International Airport is scheduled for March 30, 2025. Initially planned for a previous date, its inauguration was rescheduled to ensure that all operations work efficiently from day one.

This new terminal, which extends over 270,000 m² and has the capacity to receive Up to 40 million passengers A year, it has been built in a record time of three years.
